Here is a generic hierarchy for fall hazards. Keep in mind JSA should be completed and specifications decided to limit fall hazards.

⦁ Set up barriers
⦁ Use restraint systems/ Use aerial work platforms/ Set up scaffolding.
⦁ Use fall arrest; use fall arrest and work positioning.
⦁ Engineered fall protection devices & systems.
